Ramsgate & District Horticultural Society was established in January 2024. Membership is open to everyone with an interest in plants, flowers, gardening or wildlife. Our society is not just for people with gardens or allotments – it is a place where all people with similar interests can come to socialise, pick up (and share) tips and good ideas, hear interesting talks and see useful demonstrations.

Our activities include, but are not restricted to, talks and demonstrations, plant and seed swaps, group visits to private and public gardens and sites of interest such as wildlife and wildflower sites, and local nurseries). We welcome new members, irrespective of where you are based. We will shortly be arranging our programme of talks for September 2026 through til 2027. Do get in touch if you would like to suggest future speakers or would like to offer a talk.

The dates for our talks from September onwards will be as follows:

All dates are Mondays. PLEASE NOTE: The venue for our July meeting has changed – it will take place in RADFORD HOUSE, EFFINGHAM STREET. From September all meetings will take place in the Council Chamber at Custom House, Harbour Parade Ramsgate
