Dan first moved to Broadstairs from London eighteen years ago and set about transforming his small courtyard garden into a space that welcomes both wildlife and friends. He has opened his garden as part of the National Gardens Scheme in the past, to widespread admiration, but, Dan says, “It remains a work in progress!”

In recent years he has become a well-known face on the Thanet horticultural scene, selling a range of seeds, tools, clothes, furniture and accessories from his website and at plant fairs. He sends out a weekly newsletter giving topical garden advice and inspiration – any of you who are not already signed up might want to register to receive it (sign up on his website).

If people wish to order items from his website in advance of the talk, Dan will bring them to with him on the evening (email Dan at hello@dancoopergarden.com) He will also have a selection of smaller items including seeds, gardening gloves and tools available to purchase on the night. Cards accepted.
